To help children and families find their way to fulfilling and constructive lives.
To help children and families find their way to fulfilling and constructive lives.
“…the people here care. They will move mountains to provide a family the resources that they need…”
TYFS, an independent private non-profit organization, has been serving children and families in Teton County and beyond since 1977, when Van Vleck House first opened its doors as a drop-in center for teens. TYFS is now the umbrella organization for three entities that are crucial to child welfare in our community and state: Van Vleck House, which includes a Group Home and Crisis Center and Court Diversion Services; Red Top Meadows, which provides residential treatment and wilderness programs for adolescent males; and the Hirschfield Center for Children which provides programs for families and children as well as forensic interviews for children subject to neglect and/or abuse.
TYFS functions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
Teton Youth and Family Services operates out of three sites in Teton County, Wyoming.
