The Family Advocate Project helps families at risk of child abuse or neglect to stabilize and gain control of their lives.
Over the past 5 years, 168 children were able to avoid appearing in court to face their abuser due to a safe forensic interviewing process and over 400 parents or guardians at risk of abuse and/or neglect were able to build skills and never abuse their children
Served 173 children and their families in 2016
The cost to serve one family is about $3,580 per year
Referrals to the Family Advocacy Program occur through Teton County School District, Jackson Community Counseling Center, Public Health, Community Safety Network, and Department of Family Services
